About You

As a Junior Programmer at Total Life, you'll be integral to our software development process, contributing to various aspects of coding and software design. Your role involves attending development meetings, learning our codebase, enhancing coding skills, and maintaining clean, efficient code. This position presents a fantastic opportunity to grow your programming skills, work on exciting projects, and make a significant impact on our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding.
  2. Attend and contribute to company and project development meetings.
  3. Learn the codebase and improve coding skills.
  4. Write and maintain code according to project requirements.
  5. Work on bug fixes to ensure optimal software performance.
  6. Implement new features and functionality based on project specifications.
  7. Respond promptly to requests and inquiries from the team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  2. Knowledge of basic coding languages, preferably Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
  3. Basic programming experience with a willingness to learn and grow.
  4. Understanding of databases and operating systems.
  5. Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  6. Strong ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
