Junior Financial Analyst- 6 Month Project

Junior Financial Analyst Needed For 6 Month Project In Toronto!

Must have experience and be available full time 40 hours a week for the next 6 months.

Monday to Friday (for 6 months)
8am-5pm

Payrate: $30/hr

Core Responsibilities:

1. Verification and recording of all purchases AP Invoices, reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
2. Daily bank reconciliation of merchant deposits with POS and escalation for resolution.
3. Recording of Discounts promotions along with tracking and application.
4. Support in reconciliation and preparation of schedules for posting of revenue in Microsoft Dynamics.
5. Monthly account reconciliations and facilitate in month end closing.
6. Assist in preparation of daily Sales KPI report for individual business segments and units.
7. Variance analysis and reporting on actuals vs budget on a weekly basis, analyzing differences and propose suggestions to improve the budgetary framework.
8. Assist in sales reconciliation and reporting of discrepancies for resolution.
9. Assist in Cash flow forecasting and inputs updates on a weekly basis.
10. Reconciliation of marketing expenses with approvals and payment reimbursements from franchisor.
11. Support in Expenses management, review and trending analysis according to the assigned budget.
12. Support in ad hoc performance reports requests from management.

Required Competencies and Experience:

1. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables, big data processing).
2. Proficient with MS Office tools.
3. Analytical skills, data processing and reporting experience.
4. Reporting experience with Power BI tool will be an added advantage.
