Job Title: Jr. Financial Accountant
Reports To: Financial Controller

Problem Solving/Judgement and Decision Making:
The incumbent works on assignments that are moderate to complex in nature. Generally, follows established processes and procedures; however, can exercise decision-making when determining which issues to escalate to the Controller and/or Chief Operating Officer. Must exercise sound judgment and follow established processes and procedures to achieve problem resolution.
Supervision Received:
Primary reporting relationship is typically to the Financial Controller. Assignments are performed under general supervision, receiving guidance on new assignments and projects.
Supervision Exercised:
No supervisory responsibility.
Internal and External Contacts:
Routinely interacts with other team members in the Accounting team, sales team, customer service, IT, operations, etc. Contacts are frequent with non-management and management staff within the Company’s divisions and their leaders. Routinely interacts with external CRA, Provincial government, and external auditors.
