Behaviour Innovations is a leading provider of Applied Behaviour Analytic (ABA) services, specializing in supporting children and young adults across the autism spectrum. Behaviour Innovations provides both home-based and centre-based models of service to ensure we meet the unique needs of our clients.

Position: Junior Facilitator in Home Based Service Model

Job Type: Permanent | Location: Greater Hamilton Region

Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA programming with fidelity in one-on-one sessions with children in their homes
• Record data accurately throughout sessions
• Maintain consistent communication with the clinical team regarding client progress
• Actively participate in team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary education in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or equivalent. Alternatively a diploma in CYW, SSW, PSW or DSW.
• Excellent communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational abilities with a self-motivated, high-energy, and enthusiastic approach
• Experience working with individuals with special needs and prior implementation of ABA are assets
• Updated vulnerable sector screening is required
• Access to a vehicle is desired as travel within the Greater Hamilton Region is required

Work Schedule:

• Permanent position with scheduled sessions between 6-12 hours per week-- fixed schedule

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week

Experience:

• Working with children: 1 year (preferred)
• Working with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)
• ABA and/or IBI: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
