JUNIOR DECISION SUPPORT ANALYST, FT

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Analytics, the successful applicant will provide support to the Senior Decision Support Performance Advisors to ensure the quality and integrity of the data submission for the Ontario Health Access to Care Wait Time Information System (WTIS). The position will support the processes ensuring the accuracy, validity, consistency, and timeliness of the WTIS data. The incumbent will act as a liaison for training and ongoing support to all Physician offices who are part of WTIS. The incumbent must demonstrate analytical and prioritization skills in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

1. University Degree in Health Informatics/Health Administration or equivalent
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience with statistics and analysis is required
3. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
4. Knowledge of the Ontario Health Access to Care wait time information system (WTIS) reporting requirements is preferred
5. Knowledge and understanding of Novari ATC
6. Ability to travel to Physician offices to provide support
7. Knowledge of utilization and experience analyzing clinical data, with a focus on data quality
8. Advanced computer skills specifically in the use of Microsoft Excel and Crystal report writing
9. Extremely analytical, with excellent attention to detail
10. Experience with electronic medical record systems including Oracle Health (Cerner) and Meditech considered an asset
11. Demonstrated ability to manage a diversified workload, multiple tasks concurrently, and meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
12. Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
13. Proficiency in English required, proficiency in French an asset
