JUNIOR CIVIL 3D / DRAFTING TECHNOLOGIST

• Position: JUNIOR CIVIL 3D/DRAFTING TECHNOLOGIST

You will have the opportunity to help design water conveyance infrastructure including Dams, Canals, Spillways, Pipelines, Pumpstations, and a wide array of other earthworks and civil engineering projects. Our projects are primarily located in Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. This position is office based with occasional travel, some projects may include site resident inspections. No experience is required for the position; however, applicants with experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D drafting or other related experience in consulting engineering will be considered as an additional asset. Some of the tasks included in the position will be working with other engineers and technologists in preparing technical drawings, calculating earthworks quantities, processing surveys, and civil engineering design.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a two-year diploma from a recognized college or technical school; and be eligible for membership in ASET,
• Direct experience with AutoCAD & Civil 3D,
• Experience with other Autodesk programs such as Infraworks or Revit would be considered an asset,
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs,
• Self-motivated, reliable, strong work ethic, natural enthusiasm,
• Valid drivers license,
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
