What are we looking for?We want
self-starters who take initiative, are naturally curious, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable to new technology, has strong time management skills, and can handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications- A post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
- At least one year of experience in a financial setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with exposure to Office 365 and Power BI.
- Ability to meet deadlines, articulate ideas, and work well under pressure.
- Experience with MRI or other internal accounting/property management systems (an asset).
What will you do?- Process accounts receivable and payable, including deposits, invoice tracking, and payments.
- Monitor the corporate accounts payable email inbox and ensure timely responses.
- Prepare monthly chargeback invoices and handle invoice cancellations.
- Record, monitor, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, irregularities, and inquiries.
- Complete bank reconciliations and assist with monthly financial statements.
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, document preparation, and vendor communications.
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Manage Edon’s corporate credit card program.
- Provide back-up support for team members as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive image when interacting with clients and tenants.
- Foster collaborative relationships with coworkers and clients to ensure excellent service.
