As per the TBS common hybrid work model for the Federal Public Service, there is an in-person requirement of at least 3 days per week in the office.

A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of National Defence.

Information on language requirements

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

The minimum standard for positions classified at the FIDP level and above is met through either of the following:

  • A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management subgroup
  • Eligibility for a recognized Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

Acceptable Specialization:

  • At DND, specialization at the FIDP level and above is defined as the successful completion of six (6) university level accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics courses

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in providing financial advice, analyzing financial data or preparing financial reports
