Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a Full Time opportunity for a Jr. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Mississauga, ON; Stellarton, NS.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

1. Support, enhance and develop features for Sobeys’ Salesforce Marketing Cloud through development work.
2. Ability to discuss how the solution’s specific features, characteristics, functionality, and design will meet business requirements.
3. Good communication skills to ensure that management is informed of progress, status, and issues of delivery team activities.
4. Analyze and address Salesforce related defects, gaps, etc., in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.

What you have to offer:

Your experience and resume will show us:

• An Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related degree.
• Working experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience creating dynamic, personalized messages via email, SMS and other communication methods using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and other scripting languages is preferred.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases is preferred.
• Knowledge of data configuration and segmentation, reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of data integration and management.
• Knowledge of cloud services, Microsoft Azure is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of software development techniques to code and test solutions such as unit testing, object-oriented design techniques, etc.
• Experience in software engineering and solution delivery methodologies.
• Technical knowledge of one or more programming languages including C++, C or SAS.
