Position Overview

To Process all accounts payable transactions for Aerospace Division in a time effective and accurate manner.

What You Will Do

1. Perform electronic voucher match (two way and three way matches)
2. Verify receipt of PO items, code invoice accordingly, and verify accuracy of invoice.
3. Communicate PO variances to Purchasing.
4. Match freight waybills to invoices and code accordingly.
5. Code brokerage invoices correctly.
6. Direct non- PO invoices to appropriate managers for approval.
7. Process coded and approved invoices.
8. General support to accounting.
9. Liaise with buyers and suppliers on problem invoices
10. Enter Direct Cheque Requests and Travel Advances.
11. Enter travel claims, petty cash payouts and credit cards.
12. Set up new vendors.

What You Will Bring

1. Grade 12, Business course
2. 1-3 years experience in an Accounts Payable Department as Accounts Payable Clerk.
3. Well spoken, Good with customer relations.
4. Strong organizational ability
5. Enjoy working with timelines and accounts payable paperwork.
6. Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
