Journeyman Plumber

Duties will include Plumbing Service Work for residential and commercial buildings as well as new home construction and renovations. The Journeyman Plumber performs skilled technical work in the installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of domestic water systems, heating water systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm sewers and gas pipe following recognized procedures and techniques of the plumbing trade.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Completion of a plumbing vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship program in the plumbing trade is preferred.

Experience: Successful experience in the plumbing trade is required. Documented journeyman status is required. A working knowledge of building and plumbing codes is required.
