Journeyman Automotive Technician

Key Duties And Responsibilities

1. Proven mechanical abilities in Gas and Diesel automotive repairs
2. Inspect and test motors, road test vehicles, and use diagnostic tools to identify faults
3. Adjust, repair, or replace automotive system components using hand tools and specialized equipment
4. Test and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications
5. Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups
6. Advise customers on repairs, vehicle condition, and future needs
7. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, computer proficient

Qualifications

1. Licensed Journeyman
2. Red Seal certification preferred
3. CVIP Licence would be an asset
4. Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean abstract
5. Attention to detail

Salary: We offer a salary range of $40.00-$50.00/hour based on experience, potential for more depending on production.
