TalentWorld is recruiting a Forklift Operator in Surrey (Cloverdale), British Columbia for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
• Prepare and stage materials for outbound shipments.
• Load/unload trucks and handle materials up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
• Perform daily equipment checks and follow safety protocols.
• Wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, high-visibility gear).
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production and shipping goals.
• Keep work areas clean and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid forklift operator certification (asset); OSHA or CLA certification (a plus).
• 3+ years of material handling/shipping experience.
• 2+ years of forklift operation.
• Proficiency in WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, wear PPE, and pass a background check.
• Access to personal transportation (preferred).

Employment Details

• Salary: $23/HR - $24/HR
• Benefits: Full-time, on-site position with 40 hours per week and weekly pay.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Other: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
