TalentWorld is looking for an Architect – Data Centers to join a leading data design provider in Montreal, QC.
This role involves leading architectural planning and design efforts for critical infrastructure, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and code compliance in data center environments.
Competitive salary between $120,000 and $175,000
Partial remote work available
Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM

Responsibilities of the Architect – Data Centers:
- Design architectural plans for data centers that meet regulatory and technical standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate building systems seamlessly
- Produce architectural drawings, models, and layouts using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software
- Conduct feasibility studies and on-site assessments
- Ensure all designs adhere to building codes and safety standards
- Work closely with contractors and project managers for smooth execution
- Optimize architectural designs for sustainability and energy efficiency
- Stay informed on the latest innovations in mission-critical facility design
Qualifications for the Architect – Data Centers position:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of architectural design experience (data centers or mission-critical facilities preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other BIM tools
- Knowledge of relevant codes and certifications (IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED)
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Architectural license (OAQ, OAA, AIA, or equivalent) is an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally based on project needs
