JIRA Administrator

Our client is looking for a Jira Administrator for a 12-month contract with a possible extension. This is a remote role based in New Brunswick, Canada.

Mandatory Requirements

1. A University Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology OR an equivalent combination of a college diploma (related to Business Administration and/or IT) and relevant experience. (Required)
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in administration and configuration of the Atlassian JIRA product and development components. (Required)

Scored Requirements:

1. Extensive expertise (10 years) in JIRA user account administration, configuration, and management, including Atlassian tool configuration, JIRA, JQL, JIRA APIs, creating JIRA templates, custom issues and workflows, custom forms, attributes, dashboards, and reports.
2. At least 6 years of experience deploying project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to optimize Atlassian tools across multiple project streams.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience working with high self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, technical experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
4. At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering JIRA training through various methods, including in-person sessions, online training, training guides, and learning sessions.
5. Experience working in public sector or healthcare environments, preferably in New Brunswick, with knowledge of the local landscape, policies, and practices. (Required)
6. Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Developer. (Required)
