ABOUT OUR OPERATION

The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, you will work within the Business Applications Support Team and be responsible for leading a team of analysts in the implementation, support, and optimization of JD Edwards (JDE) Maintenance and Inventory modules. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role covers all the divisions of the company.

  • Plan, implement and sustain the Maintenance & Inventory Modules (JDE) and other related maintenance systems in support of various organizational functions in a cost effective and efficient manner for all mine sites;
  • Manage a team of maintenance and inventory JDE business analysts;
  • Prioritize support activity and incident resolution based on competing business requirements with full use of Helpdesk software for event tracking and resolution;
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and processes and designing modifications;
  • Monitor, review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and processes while developing strategies for improvement or further leveraging existing system functionality;
  • Determine, with site super users and maintenance & inventory department managers, on the standards to use;
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation for future referral;
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures;
  • Participate in complete software lifecycle management for software applications including initiation, planning, development, testing, implementation and support of software solutions;
  • Provide day-to-day support for the Maintenance & Inventory Modules (JDE), for all mine sites;
  • Test, or supervise tests, of changes made by JDE Developers;
  • Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new application functions;
  • Assist site super users to train other maintenance & inventory personnel;
  • Support maintenance & inventory super users with adherence to JDE maintenance & inventory standards;
  • Incorporate the maintenance processes developed by the corporate maintenance department into the JDE Maintenance Module;
  • Work on third party interface as required by the JDE team and/or the maintenance & inventory department;
  • Facilitate change management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with JDE, and at least 5 years in a lead role.
  • Proficiency in JDE EnterpriseOne Maintenance and Inventory modules, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong team management skills with experience in managing JDE Analysts of different skill levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective JDE solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous learning of existing systems, use of new technologies and tools to improve software environments and current processes through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and networking;
  • Ability to travel as required depending on assigned area and projects;
  • Proficiency in the use of the French and Spanish Language is an asset;
  • Proficiency in the use of the English language as you will be working in collaboration with other Agnico Eagle sites where English is the primary language.

Your Work Schedule

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Possibility of 5-2-4-3 schedule;
  • Workplace: Possibility to work in one of AEM's offices closer to your residence in Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel or Toronto. There is a possibility to have a hybrid work schedule, working some days from an AEM office and some days in telecommuting.
