Java Full Stack Developer

GCOO leverages on its 5 Functions to meet strategic ambitions: Information Systems, Real Estate, Sourcing, Group Data Office & Global Solution Center.

Within GCOO, the Digital & Data Services (DDS) department is responsible for providing Société Générale Group with innovative digital capabilities and tools and assisting them in this technological transformation. Within DDS, the Digital Capabilities & Services (DCS) entity aims to develop and deploy innovative and industrial digital capabilities for the Group, with the aim of enabling the complete digitalization of business paths.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

In this context, we are looking for a Fullstack developer within the Dev Ops team in Montreal in charge of the SG Workflow product, to the following various aspects:

1. Design and development of product evolutions on the front-end components (Angular & React JS), as well as on the back-end components (Java & Kotlin language).
2. Respect for virtuous development practices contributing to the improvement of code quality and maintainability (clean coding, craftsmanship).
3. Implement the "software factory" to build and deploy the application.
4. Proposal of technical solutions and realization POC if necessary.
5. Technical support of the product with users and teams implementing it.
6. Product start-up operations.
7. Assistance to third-party entities with implementing the product to then integrate it.
8. Active participation in the team's Agile ceremonies.
9. Documentation of the product, its components, and team practices.

Profile

Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:

1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
2. Angular, React, Bootstrap.
3. Java, Kotlin.
4. SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
5. SpringBoot.
6. ElasticSearch, Kibana, Matomo.
7. Kubernetes.
8. GitHub, GitHub Actions, Sonar, Jenkins.

Soft skills:

1. Practical sense: the candidate must suggest pragmatic solutions to fit the need of the team project, while respecting the quality standards.
