Java Front End Developer (remote)

The ideal candidate would be required to work closely with creative design, business, and UX teams to create HTML5/CSS3-based web properties for desktop and mobile platforms. The developer should have a strong understanding of back-end programming architecture and technologies used to develop web projects. The developer should have a high level of knowledge of design toolsets and the methods of transforming creative elements for use as HTML-based content. A bachelor’s degree or 5 years working equivalent in web development is required. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Extensive knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Extensive knowledge in JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax.
• Experience in responsive and adaptive design/development methodologies.
• Experience with React.js, Less, SaSS, and Angular.js.
• Experience in content management systems (e.g., AEM / SDL).
• Experience in understanding and maintaining the principles of design.
• Experience using design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Axure.
• Knowledge of Omniture and other tracking software is a plus.
• Corporate and agency experience is a considerable plus.

Relevant Work Experience/Requirements: 3-5 years as a web developer.
