Job Title: Java/ Microservices Developer

Work Location: Atlanta GA/Milford, OH (day 1 onsite)

Relevant Experience: 8+ Years

Technical/Functional Skills:

1. Strong knowledge in Java v1.8
2. Required hands-on experience in Microservices
3. Required hands-on experience in Angular framework
4. Required hands-on experience in Spring/Spring boot framework
5. Required hands-on experience in Struts framework
6. Required hands-on experience in Hibernate ORM framework
7. Required hands-on experience in DB2
8. Strong hands-on experience in writing SQL
9. Experience with versioning tools such as Git
10. Experience in writing in JUnit
11. Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
12. Awareness of Java coding standards and best practices
13. Knowledge of JSP tag libs, web services (Soap and Rest)
14. Knowledge of Jboss BPM (Drools), Birt Reporting (preferred)
15. Object-oriented programming and design patterns
16. Experience with Scrum and the Agile SDLC (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, code, test, debug, and implement web-based applications.
2. Collaborate with designers, managers, and other developers across the project team.
3. Work with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
4. Tune and monitor application performance.
5. Maintain the security and integrity of the applications.
6. Maintain the release management cycle as well as the software development environments.

Education: Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
