What will be your daily pursuit?: As a Retail Supervisor, you will be creating a successful environment for staff and an enjoyable experience for every guest that comes through our location.

What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour.

When does this adventure begin?: This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2025.

What will you do in this job?:

1. Oversee the sales and merchandising of souvenirs, clothing, and activity bookings.
2. Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display.
3. Supervise staff, coordinate staff schedules, and delegate duties as required.
4. Ensure service is friendly, courteous, and professional.
5. Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, and responsibly handle cash and credit cards.
6. Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized.
7. Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
8. Monitor security in the retail environment.
9. Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives.
10. Collect feedback forms from customers, answer the phone, and facilitate efficient inventory management and movement.
11. Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees.
12. Perform regular staff evaluations and provide feedback.
13. Other duties as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

1. 2-5 years of leadership and training experience.
2. Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment.
3. Previous guest service and cash handling experience.
4. Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
5. Speaks a second language, an asset.
6. Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
7. Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
8. Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards.
