Janitor (Warehouse)

Job Title: Warehouse Custodian
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 10:30am -7:00pm
Rate of Pay: $23/hour
Location: Milton, Ontario - James Snow Parkway North & Regional Road 25
Job Type: Ongoing Temporary

We are hiring Warehouse Custodians for our client's distribution center in Milton! Candidates must have a vehicle and valid license to commute to work. Successful candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in a previous commercial or industrial janitorial role. You must be available to interview and begin working immediately.

Note: You must have a personal vehicle to commute to the facility - it is not transit accessible. This is a client requirement.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning, sanitizing, and dusting in break rooms, restrooms, visitor areas, meeting rooms, and offices
2. Use cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers and polishers in the warehouse facilities
3. Removal and sorting of garbage and recycling
4. Restocking supplies and completing inventory counts in the warehouse and office, break rooms, washrooms, etc.
5. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. 1-2 years of experience in a custodian or janitorial role
2. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
3. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly
4. Reliable vehicle and own license required (the facility is not transit accessible)
5. Available for overtime as necessary
6. CSA Safety Shoes
7. Willing to provide a Criminal Record Search
