We cover transportation (shuttle service to-and-from site, out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), meals, & accommodation at site.
We are looking to hire third cooks for our operations at the Foran Mine site in Saskatchewan, located 85 km west of Flin Flon, MB.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, and area rugs.
- Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned.
- Collect garbage.
- Clean assigned areas, including office complexes and other buildings.
- Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Things to Consider:
- Requires shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.
- The work schedules are 2 weeks in-and-out rotations.
- You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- You must be a team player, who works well with others.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.
- Grade 10 would be an asset.
- One year of janitorial experience is preferred and would be an asset.
- A suitable combination of education & experience will also be considered.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid, recognized first aid certificate.
- Ability to perform janitorial duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of safety procedures associated with working with hazardous products, including WHMIS.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Physically able to perform the assigned duties.
