Janitor

Schedule Shift time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Holidays Weekend Availability Monday, Friday, Saturday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform the necessary cleaning functions in the company (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.).
2. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
3. Stock and maintain supply rooms clean and neat.
4. Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested.
5. Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
6. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
7. Follow all health and safety regulations.
8. Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising the Food Safety Program, specific to the assigned role.
9. Assist in ensuring compliance with Lucky’s Food Safety Program, which will lead to compliance with third-party certification and customer requirements.
10. Work safely with minimal environmental impact and understand the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and ecological spills immediately to the supervisor.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. 3+ years of Janitor experience.
2. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and climb ladders.
4. Good Organization Skills.
5. Ability to communicate in English.
6. Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends.
7. Understanding food products is an asset.
