IT Technician - Summer Student Position

St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic School Division is seeking an individual with
strong soft skills to join our I.T. Team, based at the division office in Leduc, Alberta. This is a
part-time summer position Monday through Thursday, 8 hours per day, 32 hours a week. This
position will start July 1st or an agreed upon date and conclude at the end of August, before the new school year starts.

A technical position working under the guidance of the Director of
Technology, involving inventory and asset management. Your main responsibilities will include
decommissioning old equipment, inventorying existing equipment and assisting the IT
department in day-to-day summer operations.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school
• Working knowledge of computer and networking hardware
• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong time management skills
• Passion for technology and eagerness to learn
• Class 5 driver's license to commute to and from the office

Successful applicants will be required to submit a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of the vulnerable sector. This competition will remain open until 12:00pm on April 14, 2025.
