As we continue to grow, we are looking for a IT Technician – Level 2 MSP Corp – Groupe Access team for one of our client.

About The Role

The Level 2 Technician will handle more complex technical support issues that Level 1 cannot resolve, including network troubleshooting, server maintenance, and system updates. The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnosing advanced issues, implementing solutions, and delivering exceptional client service.

What You Will Do
  1. Provide Level 2 support for desktop, server, and network environments, resolving escalated issues.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to Windows servers, desktops, networking devices, and cloud services.
  3. Monitor and maintain clients’ IT infrastructure (e.g., servers, switches, routers, firewalls).
  4. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 environments.
  5. Perform patch management, software updates, and system upgrades.
  6. Assist in configuring backup systems and disaster recovery plans.
  7. Troubleshoot and configure routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall).
  8. Resolve network connectivity issues, DNS conflicts, and IP address problems.
  9. Work closely with clients to understand their IT issues and ensure timely resolution.
  10. Document all support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
  11. Collaborate with Level 3 technicians and senior engineers for advanced issues.
  12. Provide guidance to Level 1 staff, mentoring as needed.
  13. Create and update technical documentation, guides, and manuals.

What We’re Looking For
  1. 2-4 years of IT support experience, preferably within an MSP environment.
  2. Experience with remote management and monitoring (RMM) tools.
  3. Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019), desktop OS (Windows 10/11), and Microsoft 365.
  4. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
  5. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  6. CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (MCSA/MCSE).
  7. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.
