IT Technician [#4775]

Alteo is looking for an IT Technician for a permanent job based in Greater Montreal.

Under the supervision of the IT Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of workstations, software and user peripherals. You will also be the main point of contact for employees with computer problems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for the IT infrastructure
• Ensure the implementation of new equipment
• Perform maintenance on user accounts
• Ensure the proper functioning of user systems and data integrity
• Be the first responder to support tickets
• Ensure the proper functioning of networks and telecommunications equipment
• Develop procedures and operational documentation for technological equipment and installations according to the IT needs of the various departments
• Provide training to employees on the various platforms used by the group
• Participate in implementation and continuous improvement projects

Profile:

• DEP/DEC in IT or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in IT support
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 systems (OneDrive, SharePoint, Defender, Intunes, Perview)
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and MacOSX computer systems
• Very good knowledge of local and wide area networks, wired and wireless
• Customer focus and empathy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and priority management skills
• Ability to work independently and enjoy challenges
• Car + available to travel between different sites in Quebec
