Title

IT Technician

Summary

The IT Technician's role is to manage our ticketing system and provide technical support and assistance to the CPP corporate team and partner clinics.

Responsibilities

  1. Assess and triage incoming tickets in a timely manner
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve quick win tickets
  3. Document technical issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner
  4. Ensure that tickets contain a clear path to next steps and warm transfer to other technicians
  5. Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of our systems and software
  6. Provide deeper technical support to CPP's corporate team and partner clinics as time permits
  7. Setup new workstations
  8. Create new user accounts, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, etc.

Essential Skills and Abilities

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and features, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
  3. Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
  4. Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
  5. Knowledge of anti-spam and anti-malware software
  6. Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues remotely
  7. Strong communication and customer service skills
  8. Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical people
  9. Strong multitasking capabilities
  10. Excellent time management skills

Additional Skills and Abilities (nice to have)

  1. Experience with RMM/MDM (We use Ninja and Jamf)
  2. Familiarity with cybersecurity training platforms (we use KnowBe4)
  3. Familiarity with password vaults (we use 1Password)
  4. Network management skills; help troubleshooting remote network issues and be part of the discussion about networking standards and IT vision
  5. System administration; knowledge of hardware, appliances, configuration, maintenance, etc.

Work Schedule

Full time, hybrid, Mon/Tue/Thu in office, Wed/Fri remote
