Are you a skilled and motivated IT professional ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and providing technical support to our staff.

You Are:

• Committed to ensuring accuracy in configurations, documentation, and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems.
• Perform regular backups and conduct disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Escalation point for the technical support team to resolve high-complexity issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What You Bring:

• Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Azure Administrator Associate.
• 4-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, preferably in a medium-sized firm.
• Experience partnering with external vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adjust to multiple demands in a changing and fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with:
• Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Network Configuration and Administration.
• Virtualization Technologies: e.g., VMware.
• Server Administration: Windows and Linux.
• SQL Server Administration
• O365 Administration.
• InTune and Autopilot Administration.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery Systems: e.g., Veam, Zerto.
• Security Systems: MDR, SIEM, Anti-malware.
• Penetration Testing: Managing penetration tests and implementing remediation efforts.
• Hardware Management: Installing, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning server or network hardware and associated equipment.
