We are seeking a skilled IT Support person to join our client’s team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex IT issues, and oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT systems. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to IT projects to improve efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users of varying expertise.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, managing support requests and escalating when needed.
3. Monitor and optimize IT systems for performance and security.
4. Help with system installations, software imaging, and deployment of IT equipment.
5. Manage hardware services, including installations, relocations, upgrades, and configurations.
6. Perform system updates and technology implementation.
7. Track IT assets and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications:

1. A relevant post-secondary diploma or completion of IT-related coursework.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a hands-on IT support role, supporting desktop and laptop users.
3. Strong technical knowledge of PC hardware/software and experience with system installations.
4. Experience with modern operating systems (Windows 10/11) and office productivity tools.
5. Basic understanding of network configurations and protocols.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. Availability to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
9. Ability to lift and move office electronics and equipment.
10. Familiarity with wireless networks and security systems is an advantage.
