Provide technical and functional expertise and solutions in areas of technology, processes, and operating procedures for SAP Human Capital Management (HCM). Responsible for the integrity of electronic data, systems, processes, and policies. Act as a subject matter expert and support and troubleshoot the City’s SAP HR solutions and systems.
Under the direction of the Manager, SAP HCM / Payroll Business Support, the successful candidate will:
• Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources Management, IT, Business or in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the implementation, configurations, and support of SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time Tracking functional modules including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, attendance/absence codes, set-up work schedules, vacation accruals, configuring changes due to collective agreements (unions).
• SAP Certification in HCM or SuccessFactors EC is required.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in configuring schema rules, system configurations for Collective Agreements (unions), CATS, Time Recording, Time Evaluation and ESS-MSS/Fiori Apps.
• Experience in testing SAP support packs and supporting year-end processes.
• Experience in integrations with SAP modules and other third-party applications (staff scheduling applications, insurer administered benefits systems, work management systems, ServiceNow, Accenture Clone & Test, Precisely Automate/formerly Winshuttle, etc.).
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning and/or Performance and Goals would be strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to convey concepts/solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
• Strong understanding of technology and business processes with the ability to integrate functional and technical views.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of information.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $89,464 to $119,286
