About the role
Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI), which operates across Canada, was founded in 2000 to simplify technology for brokerages and thereby allow them to focus on their sales and profitability. A proud partner of Intact and the brokerage community, PSI considers itself a digital enabler, offering numerous turnkey information technology (IT) solutions to brokers thanks to its team of technology professionals, support, and customer experience specialists.
The IT Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of complex IT programs. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified objectives.
What you'll do here:
Program Management:
Plan and oversee the execution of IT programs, ensuring the alignment of underlying projects and initiatives.
Set clear goals, detailed schedules, and performance metrics for each project.
Manage resources, including task allocation and budget oversight.
Coordination and Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between development teams, clients, and other departments.
Prepare and present progress reports to executives and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT programs.
Implement contingency plans to handle unforeseen events.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate and enhance program management processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Promote the adoption of best practices and project management tools.
Team Management:
Mentor and develop team members, providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project or program management, infrastructure, or security.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and coordinating multiple teams.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Bilingual (French and English) needed to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
