We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual for the role of IT Partner and User Adoption Professional. This hybrid role is designed to maximize the flexibility and efficiency of our IT organization. This dual role combines the responsibilities of an IT Partner (PTM) and a User Adoption Professional (UIT), supporting user adoption of global project roll-outs (e.g., SherpaX) and representing IT in critical audit initiatives.

What will you do?

IT Partnership:

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and various business units and corporate departments.
  • Collaborate with IT Partner management team members in Canada to implement cross-BU/business digitalization solutions, driving synergies and efficiencies.
  • Engage with Business Unit stakeholders on opportunities and challenges, driving scoping sessions, documenting requirements, and navigating a network of internal and external providers.
  • Implement business digitalization solutions in collaboration with IT Value Centres aligned with organizational goals and growth targets.
  • Keep Business Unit management and employees informed on IT strategies, key priorities, initiatives, and projects.
  • Track and monitor IT Service consumption to help drive usage reductions across the business.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to coordinate support during non-standard hours.

User Adoption:

  • Provide supplemental support and guidance to end users and various business units.
  • Conduct workshops providing end user IT training for the organization and business units.
  • Support end users in-person/virtually on the UseIT portfolio of services and monitor support mailbox and queues.
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding Siemens employees, as well as ordering, upgrading, and supporting their technology.
  • Contribute to IT communication emails and ensure they are translated for organization updates.
  • Prepare IT internal operation instructions, support audits, and ensure quality control.
  • Support the asset management process (storage, loaners, recycle).

Audit and Compliance:

  • Represent IT in critical audit initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 certification and other relevant standards as required.
  • Coordinate with CYS for continuous maintenance of local services provided.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning initiatives.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Support new projects in the pipeline from a user adoption perspective.
  • Engage with global counterparts, align best practices, and drive company-wide projects and strategic initiatives jointly with the Canada IT Partner Management team.
  • Ensure alignment of portfolio with business priorities and Business-aligned IT strategy.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree or diploma in a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of knowledge and experience in IT relevant topics.
  • Experience with leading/driving IT digital transformation and innovation initiatives in a complex operational environment.
  • Experience with SAP, Agile development teams, MS Azure preferred.
  • Track record of planning and managing large/complex technical projects with superior results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in developing and managing relationships across many teams and organizations.
  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders.
  • Effective project management from inception to completion.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to conduct end-user training and workshops.
  • Competence in preparing IT operation instructions and supporting audits.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
