IT Operations and Security Manager

We are a high-growth tech startup seeking an experienced IT Operations and Security Manager to join our team and help scale our infrastructure securely. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company's IT and security practices.

As our IT Operations and Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT infrastructure, implementing robust security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, and cloud services
• Maintain and review comprehensive security policies and procedures
• Support our sales and account teams when communicating our security posture and controls to clients
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Lead incident response efforts and manage security breaches
• Oversee vendor relationships and manage IT/security-related contracts
• Respond to client security questionnaires and maintain documentation for compliance purposes
• Manage and mentor a team of IT and security professionals
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies in the IT security landscape
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT and security needs are met
• Manage IT budgets and resource allocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and security management
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services
