Your opportunity
The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead Dillon’s core technology infrastructure, focusing on driving innovation, optimizing systems, and enabling business growth. This role is responsible for implementing innovative infrastructure solutions, building a high-performing team, ensuring seamless infrastructure operations, and managing office technology. Reporting to the Director of IT, this position manages a team of five and is expected to collaborate closely with the IT Security Manager to ensure a highly secure and reliable environment.
This position is available at our London office.

Responsibilities
What your day will look like
- Lead and execute IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration, to enable business growth
- Build and maintain a high-performing infrastructure team through leadership, training, and development
- Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure performance, system uptime, capacity, and project delivery
- Foster a culture of innovation, pushing for modernized solutions and business-enabling technologies
- Stay informed of industry trends and evaluate new technologies for potential integration into the business
- Maintain and enhance network, server, storage, and cloud environments, ensuring they are efficient, scalable and align with business objectives
- Build, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot a wide variety of corporate IT systems, including servers, networks, and virtual technologies such as VMware
- Maintain existing systems with appropriate patches and updates including Microsoft Server, VMware ESXi, and Aruba Networks
- Implement infrastructure monitoring tools and processes, including capacity planning and performance analysis, to ensure infrastructure scalability and prevent bottlenecks
- Oversee office moves, relocations, and the implementation of IT infrastructure in new or renovated spaces
- Manage office technology systems, including meeting rooms, AV equipment, and collaboration tools, ensuring high availability and performance
- Achieve infrastructure cost savings through vendor consolidation, renegotiation of contracts, and optimizing infrastructure spend
- Manage infrastructure vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
- Collaborate closely with the IT Security Manager to ensure secure and resilient implementation of all infrastructure systems and alignment with overall security standards
Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to develop and report KPIs to track infrastructure performance and project success.
- Strong vendor management skills, with experience in contract negotiations and achieving cost savings.
- Ability to foster a high-performing team and drive innovation while managing risk.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
- 5 + years experience in IT infrastructure management and leading projects within similar-sized organizations
- 8+ years experience in system and network administration managing complex environments with relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, VMware (VCP), Microsoft certifications)
- Strong expertise in networking, server management, cloud solutions, and infrastructure architecture
- Experience in implementing monitoring tools and processes for capacity planning, performance management, and ensuring infrastructure scalability
- Experience in managing office technology systems, meeting rooms, and handling office moves or relocations
