IT Engineer/ Programmer

The company also offers custom manufacturing, private labelling, and testing services for retailers, resellers and manufacturers.

The IT Engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure and user workstations, ensuring the security, stability and performance of network systems, servers, and workstation components. This role involves managing hardware, software, and network resources to support business operations and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure IT service availability.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Implement and maintain the organization's Cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure, including Servers, firewalls, NAS, and Security systems
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime for all critical systems
• Oversee disaster recovery (DR) plans, including backup, replication, and failover solutions
• Perform daily User Workstations support
• Support and maintain existing ERP Clients
• Maintain detailed documentation for IT Policies and SOPs
• Data auditing and routine database management
• Provide support and expertise for IT related issues to non-technical users
• Miscellaneous IT support

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences:

• Experience in Microsoft Office 365 Administration, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Exchange Online Protection and Endpoint Security
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server maintenance. Understanding of stored procedures, triggers, views an asset
• Experience in Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization, Windows Server & Active Directory
• Experience in Firewall, Switches and NAS Administration
• Excellent communication and time management skills. Daily interactions with non-technical users required
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to view data or information provided by others with skepticism and an unbiased view
• Experience in or knowledge of C# is an asset
• Experience in or knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript is an asset
• Knowledge of the supply chain cycle is an asset
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professionals or related credential is an asset
