What you will be doing:
Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor security policies, procedures, protocols, and technology environments.
Monitor and analyze the complete technology stack for security breaches and incidents.
Respond to security incidents and provide detailed incident reports.
Collaborate in the design and implementation of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, endpoint protection platforms, cloud application firewalls, and zero trust models.
Contribute to the design and management of data loss prevention (DLP) solutions and SIEMs.
Provide security training and awareness programs for employees, ensuring they are effective and that all team members complete the required training.
Work with other IT staff and departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, maintaining a strong understanding of vulnerabilities and risks while promoting excellence.
Develop and promote cybersecurity best practices within the organization.
Ensure compliance with PCI standards, both from a technology perspective and through ongoing training and awareness.
Maintain incident response plans, and coordinate tabletop exercises and other preparedness activities.
Coordinate and conduct ongoing security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certifications in IT security are desirable.
Proven experience in IT security, including cybersecurity, PCI, and data security/privacy.
Strong knowledge of security standards and industry best practices.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, endpoint protection platforms, SIEM systems, DLP solutions, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
