IT Consultant

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 3 days Onsite)

Duration: 11 Months (With Possible Extension)

Must Haves:

1. Experience in development, programming, and analysis at Level 3 with MS Dynamics CRM 2013, 2016 Sales, Marketing, and service modules. Customized complex applications on Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform as well as the Dynamics 365/ADX Portal, Dynamics O365 Online, Power Pages and PowerApps.
2. Experience in programming and analysis at Level 3 with Microsoft Visual Studio, Web Development skills including HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax to update Dynamics 365 Forms and Portal webpages.

Nice-To-Have:

1. Power BI
2. Previous Public Sector experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

1. Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems. The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
2. Provides subject matter expertise in their field and highly expert technical assistance.
3. Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable.
4. Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables.
5. Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations.
6. Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables.
7. Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
8. Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements.
9. Defines software, hardware and network requirements.
10. Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&I.
11. Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems.
12. Familiar with change-management principles and methodology.
13. Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
