IT Business Analyst - Capital Markets

TYPICAL DAY IN ROLE:
Support & Troubleshooting:

1. Respond to user queries, triage requests, and debug reported issues to support the Murex FXO system from front to back.

Requirement Gathering & Testing:

1. Gather requirements, develop test plans, and support delivery for prioritized enhancements.

Stakeholder Communication:

1. Consistently communicate with multiple stakeholders, including front-facing users, downstream teams, and vendor contacts, to coordinate ongoing work.

Documentation & Maintenance:

1. Support ongoing maintenance of JIRA and ServiceNow spaces, ensuring BAU documentation remains up to date.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS/MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

1. 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA), Business Systems Analyst (BSA), or Analyst.
2. 3+ years of recent experience in Capital Markets, covering front-to-back-office workflow (Trading, Risk, Back Office, Regulations, Front Office).
3. 3+ years of experience conducting BAU support for capital market users, including:
1. Working with users
2. Triaging issues & coordinating resolution with multiple teams
3. Requirement gathering

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

1. MUREX (preferred) or Wallstreet experience is a strong asset.
2. Databases: MS-SQL is a strong asset.
3. Experience with FX Markets.
4. Unix/Linux Bash scripting experience is an asset.
5. Experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL tools.
