IT Business Analyst (Banking / Insurance)

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced professional to support critical data and integration projects. This role focuses on driving insights through advanced business intelligence systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.

  2. Incorporated Business Rate: $82 to $87 per hour.
  3. 9-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  4. Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  5. Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
  6. Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in requirement gathering activities and document business requirements.
  2. Contribute to the development of OLAP and OLTP-based data analytics and business intelligence systems.
  3. Support the integration of middleware tools such as Kafka and BizTalk.
  4. Work with Microsoft technologies, including SQL and Azure.
  5. Utilize Power BI, Synapse, and Power Automate to support reporting and automation tasks.

What you will need to succeed:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. 9+ years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including SQL and Microsoft Azure.
  4. Experience in building OLAP and OLTP-based data analytics and business intelligence systems.
  5. Proficiency in middleware integration tools such as Kafka and BizTalk.
  6. Skilled in Power BI, Microsoft Synapse, and Power Automate.
  7. Experience in gathering requirements and creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
  8. Strong communication skills.
  9. Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
  10. Proven time management and adaptability.
  11. Strong problem-solving abilities.
