Visier Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and strategic IT Applications Manager to lead the architecture, development, and execution of our application enablement roadmap. This role is crucial in ensuring Visier's internal use of cloud applications are robust, scalable, and aligned with our evolving business needs. You will be a key driver in shaping the future of our internal application ecosystem, fostering innovation, and maximizing the value derived from our technology investments.

What You’ll Be Doing…

Strategic Roadmap Development:

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive, multi-year strategic roadmap for application enablement, aligned with Visier's overall business objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of current application landscape, identifying gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Engineering, Product, Finance, HR) to understand their application needs and translate them into actionable plans.
  4. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform roadmap development.
  5. Define and enforce application architecture standards, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  6. Lead the design and implementation of application integrations and data flows.
  7. Evaluate and select appropriate application platforms and technologies.
  8. Ensure applications are designed to support business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
  9. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to application development and support teams.
  10. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  12. Manage projects, budgets, and timelines.

Security and Compliance:

  1. Ensure all applications adhere to security and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations.
  2. Implement and maintain security best practices for application development and deployment.
  3. Participate in security audits and risk assessments.

What You’ll Bring To The Table…

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Applications Manager or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of application architecture, design, and development principles.
  4. Experience with a variety of application technologies, including cloud-based solutions, SaaS, and on-premise systems.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  7. Experience managing IT projects and budgets.
  8. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
  9. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with ServiceNow.

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $93k - 139k / year + commission/bonus. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
