ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a full-time IT Administrator to support Enthusiast Gaming’s North American operations and, as needed, our UK entity. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product & Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring our employees have the technical support they need to thrive.

In this role, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage IT infrastructure, onboard/off-board employees, and uphold security standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where gaming and technology intersect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support & IT Operations

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and Google Workspace environments.
  • Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, VPN, and remote access tools.

User Support & Training

  • Act as a trusted IT advisor, providing guidance and training on system usage, new software, and security best practices.
  • Handle account setups, password resets, and permission requests.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding process for employees.

Security & Compliance

  • Uphold company security standards and participate in security audits.
  • Monitor and respond to security threats proactively.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware/software inventory, issues, and solutions in our IT ticketing system.
  • Continuously propose improvements to IT processes and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies.

On-Call Support

  • Occasionally provide after-hours support for urgent IT issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT support/help desk role.
  • Expertise in Google Admin Console (user management, access delegation, group creation).
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) (monitoring, troubleshooting, and procurement).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in:
    • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Sheets, Docs, Forms).
    • PC and Mac hardware/software.
  • Ability to provide occasional support to UK employees outside of EST business hours.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with:
    • JAMF (Apple device management)
    • NinjaOne (Remote IT management)
    • Slack, 1Password, Jira, monday.com
