Job description

We are looking for an IT Admin/Support with a strong technical background to lead our technology projects and provide ongoing IT support. The ideal candidate will have experience with coding, database management, and frontend development, along with the ability to write business and technical requirements and ensure the smooth functionality of websites and systems. This role involves working closely with external stakeholders, franchisees, and vendors to ensure technology solutions meet business needs. In this position, you will be working independently with the possibility of growing your own team.


Key Responsibilities:


IT Project Management:

  1. Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects meet deadlines and business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with external stakeholders, franchisees, and vendors to implement and maintain IT solutions.
  3. Write clear, detailed technical requirements for software development and systems enhancements.

Technical Support:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees and vendors for technical support and troubleshooting.
  2. Manage the implementation of new systems or updates across the business and its franchises.
  3. Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

Frontend Development & Website Functionality:

  1. Oversee the development and maintenance of websites and ensure smooth frontend functionality.
  2. Work closely with external development teams to maintain and improve user interfaces.

Coding & Development:

  1. Use technical expertise in MySQL, JavaScript, and CSS to assist in coding and development efforts as needed.
  2. Collaborate with external developers on projects requiring custom code or integrations.

Collaboration & Communication:

  1. Communicate effectively with franchisees and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and operation of IT systems.
  2. Provide technical documentation and training for users to understand and navigate new systems.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong experience with IT support and troubleshooting issues.
  3. Proven ability to manage IT projects, including gathering requirements and coordinating with external stakeholders.
  4. Experience writing technical documentation and ensuring website functionality.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
