We are looking for an Inventory Manager to work in our Montreal office.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Monitoring inventory; tracking stock levels accurately
• Planning, implementing and managing procedures to optimize inventory control
• Management of WMS (inventory management solution in ERP)
• Addressing problems in supply and delivery with appropriate solutions
• Identifying shortages and acting in a timely manner
• Defining inventory KPIs and tracking them
• Overseeing daily operations and identifying bottlenecks
• Investigating and correcting discrepancies in reported quantities and locations
• Reporting; high value, average consumption, defective boards
• Requesting release items from purchasing when required
• Resolving discrepancies and adjusting as necessary
• Reporting of scrap (weekly count and adjusting accordingly)
• Coordinating with production and QC teams to prioritize needs
• Managing and guiding inventory staff in the day-to-day performance
• Organizing monthly spot counts
• Organizing and leading year-end inventory counts

Objectives:

• Cross departmental communication; policies, processes, procedures
• Implement changes and procedures within the department
• Independent manager who can make decisions
• Reporting to upper management on a regular basis

• Strong Communication skills
• Strong accountability, ability to validate information & do research
• Strong organization skills & team player
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
• ERP knowledge
• Ability to lift items
• Forklift experience is an asset
