International Project/Student Recruitment Officer

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available

SALARY: $62,337 - $87,859 per annum

POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
RRC Polytech is seeking an International Project/Student Recruitment Officer. This position supports the Supervisor, International Student Recruitment to ensure that the business needs and requirements of international development projects are met successfully. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to attract international students, managing relationships with education agents and school partners, and conducting outreach at international fairs. Key responsibilities include creating marketing campaigns, engaging with prospective students through various platforms, and ensuring superior customer service. Additional duties include tracking recruitment data, staying updated on immigration policies, and developing new partnerships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration, Marketing or Education. A combination of other education, job experience, and lived experience may be considered.
  2. Experience in the international education industry, with recent and relevant experience in higher education, particularly in recruiting international students and managing related activities, including post-secondary student recruitment, admissions, registration, or a related field.
  3. In-depth knowledge of and experience in student recruitment or educational partnership development within the African region.
  4. Experience in business development, focusing on expanding educational partnerships and recruitment channels.
  5. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with international education institutions, funders, and recruitment agents, and to develop and secure international development contracts and opportunities.
  6. Experience in organizing and implementing recruitment plans for international students, including planning and executing recruitment campaigns such as overseas student fairs and marketing campaigns.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong cross-cultural communication abilities to work effectively with prospective students and organizations from various cultural backgrounds.
  8. Superior customer service skills, and ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Strong presentation skills with the ability to present in person and online.
  10. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision.
  11. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and handle administrative duties efficiently.
  12. Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Knowledge of operating Student/Client Information Software such as Colleague, International Student Program, and/or Recruit by Ellucian.
  2. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to target recruitment markets.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  1. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  2. This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends.
  3. May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses.
  4. Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
  5. This position may be required to travel internationally for extensive periods.
