Job Description

What you will accomplish with us:
- Conduct various studies and analyses of urban and transportation issues;
- Perform regulatory, site, and project insertion context analyses;
- Undertake various environmental characterization studies;
- Develop various argument proposals for projects under the studio's responsibility;
- Complete supporting research documentation of analyses to be conducted;
- Draft service offers, reports, studies, analysis documents, and urban or regulatory planning tools;
- Collaborate on the visual design, development and planning of various urban projects as well as road, public transit, and active transportation projects;
- Create various graphic documents (maps, figures, etc.) and presentations to facilitate the understanding of files;
- Handle necessary follow-ups with authorities to ensure rapid implementation of projects.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- University degree in Urban Planning;
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec, or eligible for membership;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience;
- Strong knowledge of Quebec's planning and regulatory framework under the Act respecting land use planning and development (RSQ, c. A-19.1);
- Proficiency in GIS mapping software an asset (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign and Illustrator);
- Professional experience in urban planning, an asset;
- Knowledge of AI-assisted modeling tools, an asset;
- Good stress management and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously;
- Autonomy and proactivity in finding solutions;
- Ease of communication with various stakeholders;
- Superior French fluency required, spoken and written (English, an asset).
