Intermediate Technical Writer

We're looking for an experienced Knowledge Management Specialist to build and streamline a documentation practice that empowers our organization.

Agilus is recruiting for an Intermediate Technical Writer in the Aviation Industry in a hybrid work environment in Dorval, Quebec. Are you passionate about making complex IT and cybersecurity information clear, accessible, and actionable? We're looking for an experienced Knowledge Management Specialist in Toronto or Montreal, to build and streamline a documentation practice that empowers our organization.

A day in the life:

1. Develop and manage IT and cybersecurity documentation (policies, guidelines, workflows).
2. Collaborate with process leads and stakeholders to gather insights and ensure accuracy.
3. Use tools like SharePoint, ServiceNow, and AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance efficiency.
4. Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Successful candidates will have:

1. 2-5 years of experience in IT/cyber documentation and knowledge management.
2. Strong understanding of frameworks like SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR, and PIPEDA.
3. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
5. Experience with policy management and GRC tools is a big plus!

1. Relationship Building and Collaboration: Candidates should be able to establish relationships and work collaboratively with others.
2. Structured Approach: The ability to be organized and structured in their work is important. This includes planning meetings, outlining processes, and following up on tasks.

5. Conciseness in Communication: Candidates should be able to communicate clearly and concisely, avoiding unnecessary elaboration.
