Intermediate / Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Our public sector client is looking for an Intermediate / Senior Cybersecurity Analyst responsible for a variety of functions including configuration of anti-virus engine policies, VPN tunnels, and triaging ATD (Advanced Threat Detection) alerts.

Full-time permanent position in Surrey, BC. Five (5) days per week on-site, with potential flexibility for start time.

Must-haves:

• CISSP, GIAC or equivalent security certification.
• 3 years experience with triaging of Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) alerts and tuning detection rules.
• 5 years experience with managing intrusion prevention systems.
• 5 years experience with configuration of VPN tunnels and remote access rules.
• 3 years experience with configuration of anti-virus engine policies and registering malware.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems plus a minimum of 3 years of cyber security experience or equivalent combination.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience maintaining web content filter rulesets.
• Experience conducting vulnerability scanning for PCI and internet-facing systems.
• Experience conducting cyber security investigations and responding to real or suspected cyber security incidents.
