Intermediate Landscape Designer

The team at Paul Sangha Creative is seeking aIntermediate Landscape Designerto join our dynamic and collaborative office. We are an award-winning landscape architectural practice focused on crafting artful, experiential landscapes for private and public spaces. For over 30 years, our reputation has been built on our dedication to service, high quality and timeless design. The successful candidate will join an energetic and fast-paced team environment, gain experience in multiple facets of the profession, as well as on a wide range of styles and projects, both locally and internationally.

EXPERIENCE:

Recommended Qualifications:

• University degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture or recognized equivalent
• 3-5 years of practical experience in a Landscape Architecture firm
• Strong project management expertise, with the ability to manage timelines and coordinate with clients and consultants
• Proficient in computer drafting (Vectorworks preferred) and highly organized in file management
• Proficient in hand drawings considered an advantageous skill
• Strong computer proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (familiarity with Lumion 3D is an asset)
• Exceptional design and graphic abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Detail oriented with effective communication skills, as well as a strong aptitude for teamwork and leadership

The Intermediate Landscape Designer position includes, but is not limited to the following duties:

• Leading design development on projects, from concept to construction documentation
• Managing project timelines, deliverables, and coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing design direction and feedback
• Developing high-quality presentation materials, technical drawings, and construction details
• Ensuring project quality control through thorough reviews of drawings and specifications
• Attending and leading client meetings, site visits, and consultant coordination meetings
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing design integrity with project deadlines and budgets

Rate of Pay:
