Intermediate DevOps Engineer

As an Intermediate DevOps Engineer at SYNAXIOM, you will be an integral part of our DevOps team, working on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with developers, QA, and senior DevOps engineers to optimize software delivery processes, enhance system performance, and ensure the reliability of the NIVOMAX platform. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Support the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Estimate effort and resources required for tasks, participating in planning and scheduling to ensure accurate project timelines.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning of resources.
• Contribute to the implementation of security best practices, including monitoring, logging, and access controls.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project status, issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years in DevOps or related roles, with hands-on experience in cloud management, CI/CD, and automation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and security best practices.
