The Role

Reporting to the Developer Lead, the Intermediate Developer plays a key role within our agile development team. Collaborating with lead and front-end developers, this position is focused on building innovative websites, applications, and engaging user experiences that support our global audience and internal brands. Leveraging skills with modern frameworks, such as React and Node, the developer will drive high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions across our digital platforms.

Key Accountabilities

• Design, code, and modify websites and applications from concept to completion, based on both flexible and defined requirements provided by internal Brands and Content Managers.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues while staying informed of current and emerging web technologies and trends.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation of code, as well as user-friendly procedures and guidelines for stakeholders.
  

The Ideal Candidate

Technical Skills:

• An understanding of CICD methodologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, demonstrating flexibility and effective time management.

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience programming web applications
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience working with third-party APIs and libraries.
• Proficiency with team productivity and version control tools, especially Github.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Jira Management Tool.

Soft Skills:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive problem solver who anticipates potential project roadblocks.
• Flexible with the proven ability to easily adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and technology trends.
